Letters Series: Letter from Birmingham Jail

Join us for a series of informal discussions of various letters written as acts of witness in times of crisis. In this session we’ll be discussing Martin Luther King, Jr’s Letter from Birmingham Jail.

In this work Martin Luther King, Jr. defends the use of nonviolent resistance to combat racism, examines theological arguments for the definition of just laws, and offers stinging criticism to Christians who have failed to act toward justice. 1st Floor Conference Room.

A copy of the letter can be found here.
