CARING MINISTRIES: (Congregational care)
Chester Presbyterian Church is committed to reaching out to assist those in out congregation dealing with disabilities, aging, illness and loss.
Our pastor, along with our Stephen Ministers and deacons, visit those in hospitals, visit homebound members and those in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. They serve home communion, can see that meals are provided, and coordinate drivers for those who need a ride to church. Deacons send cards to those in their shepherd groups, check in on their “sheep” throughout the year, and offer support to caregivers. CPC’s handyman service assist with small household repairs and yard work for aging members and those with disabilities.
